Tamil Nadu has now gone on alert after 20 students and 10 teachers have tested COVID positive in the last 4 days. This happened after the schools and colleges were opened up for the students. The Tamil Nadu government is yet to make the decision on reopening schools for classes 1-8 in the state. After the cases from schools were reported, government schools in Coimbatore and other districts were closed for 3 days as of now.
