Both the ferries were carrying over 100 people and there has been a casualty in this incident. One person has lost their lives and four others are feared to be missing in the boat tragedy accident. However, it is now being reported that the rescue operation is currently underway in Assam's Jorbhat and the team has also rescued a two-month-old baby as well in this operation. The incident took place on Sept 8th in the evening.
