The document could be released within the next ten days and will spell out the eligibility category for the third dose. This comes at a time when several reports suggest people are secretly taking third-booster shots. The task force member has said that 30+ crore doses are produced monthly. Dr. Sanjeev Bagai says, "The natural immunity post COVID lasts for anywhere between five to seven months, and the durability of the vaccine starts waning between the fifth and the seventh month."
