Maharashtra Government observed a low vaccination rate and hesitancy among people living in Muslim areas of Maharashtra and hence approached Salman Khan to step into the campaign. Bollywood actor has released a video of himself appealing to people to get vaccinated. "Get vaccinated and save yourself and your family from the Covid pandemic" he added in his video. The government is taking help from the Bollywood star to influence people to get vaccinated to ensure a better count of vaccination in the state.
