2:55Now PlayingThe Meta Company of Facebook has said it is expanding its Facebook Protect security programme for users, journalists, and government officials who are likely to be targeted by malicious hackers. The program, which was first tested in the United States of America (USA) in 2018 and expanded during an election last year in the USA, is now being rolled out in nearly 50 countries, including India. This is likely to be formalized by the end of the month. Users who fall within this group will soon start seeing a prompt from Facebook asking them to turn on Facebook Protect Action.
