About 90-95% of COVID cases now have a prevalence of the Omicron variant. There has been no projection on the case rise so far. The sources at Insacog have suggested that in the metro cities from where a large pool of genomic sequencing is being done, it has been observed that 90-95% of the genome sequencing results are coming in favour of the Omicron variant. A similar situation is being witnessed across India.
