However, the anticipatory bail plea of one of the co-accused, Manish Dalvi in the same case was granted. Reportedly, the Sindhudurg district sessions court in Maharashtra's had also rejected his anticipatory bail plea in this attempt to murder case. Nitesh Rane is the son of Union minister Narayan Rane, who represents the Kankavli Assembly seat in the Sindhudurg district. Nitesh is under the lens in connection with an alleged attack on one Santosh Parab in December last year.
