CM Bommai's appeal comes just ahead of hearing of the matter by the Karnataka High Court. The Hijab row has escalated in the state of Karnataka after girls wearing hijab were not allowed to enter classes, citing the dress code of schools and colleges. The matter has now escalated and the state govt had to order shutting down of schools and colleges amid chaos. CM Bommai has urged the students and general public to maintain calm and wait for High Court's verdict in this case.
