Justice Arumugasamy holds a meeting now to discuss the summoning of the remaining witnesses in this case. This comes after the top court ordered AIIMS to set up a medical board to help the probe panel in connection with this case. Jayalalithaa passed away in 2016. Apollo Hospital alleged earlier probe in the matter was biased and moved the top court seeking intervention. The new 8 member board will be assisting Justice Armugaswamy. The 8 members new board will look into the medical records submitted by the Apollo Hospital while they were treating Jayalalithaa, former CM, Tamil Nadu. After the Madras High Court rejected Apollo Hospital's plea, the hospital moved the Supreme Court to constitute a new panel.
