2:07Now PlayingAs per the latest input coming in Mirror Now, Bombay High Court refused to hear a plea by IRS officer Sameer Wankhede that challenge the cancellation of his liquor license for Bar in Thane, on an urgent basis. The high court has said that the plea was filed yesterday and listed for hearing today itself however now the court refuse to hear that plea on an urgent basis. In the quashing petition, Wankhede has sought interim protection from arrest and restoration of the cancelled license. The FIR was registered against Wankhede by the state excise department in Thane's Kopri police station. As per the complaint, the documents submitted in 1997 for procuring the license for selling liquor in a restaurant and bar, in Wankhede's name, were forged. Wankhede was a minor (17-year-old) when the liquor license was procured in his name, the complaint said. #SameerWankhede #LiquorLicense #BreakingNews
