Meanwhile, heavy police deployment is still witnessed in the district as the situation in the region is pretty sensitive. The DIG of Shivamogga, Dr. Thyagarajan spoke to the press and said that investigation is underway and the law and order situation is completely under control. However, he claimed that the police deployment will remain in place until normalcy is restored.
