1:07Now PlayingAmidst Russia’s offensive against Ukraine, Anonymous hackers have claimed to have taken down several Russian government websites, and RT.com, the website of the state-controlled television network. The hacker collective made an announcement on Twitter yesterday, stating that they’re engaged in a ‘cyber war’ against the Russian government. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that 137 civilians and military personnel have been killed so far while 316 have been injured. The Ukrainian interior ministry claims to have shot down a Russian plane over Kyiv. Explosions sounded before dawn in Kyiv as Western leaders scheduled an emergency meeting and Ukraine’s president pleaded for international help. Watch!
