The data indicate that by the mid of 21st century, around 35 million people in India could face annual coastal flooding. The report, titled 'Climate Change - 2022' has placed India amongst the list of most vulnerable countries in the world. The report has also advised India to cut emissions and has mentioned that Mumbai is at high risk of severe flooding. Besides, cities like Chennai, Bhubaneshwar, Patna, and Lucknow are also approaching dangerous levels.
