This has once again intensified the tussle between BJP and TMC in West Bengal. The West Bengal governor was scheduled to deliver the opening speech to mark the beginning of the budget session for the state. However, the BJP started to protest in the assembly stating that there is a complete death of democracy in the state. This resulted in the governor deciding to leave the assembly, which was blocked by the TMC leaders. This angered the BJP MLAs who then decided to hold a march.
