More and more forces bomb and destroy civilian lives and property to keep panic heightened and increase pressure on the Ukrainian forces. On the brighter side, the Russian forces seem to be losing the pace of their invasion. Adding to that, the country's terrain comes to be an obstacle for the invading forces, which give more time for Ukrainian forces to prepare and fight back.
After 2 weeks of constant attack, close to 3,000 civilians managed to flee the city of Mariupol. According to the UN, so far more than 3 million Ukrainians have fled the war zone to safer regions.
