2:09Now PlayingIn a recent development in Punjab, former Chief Minister of the state Charanjit Singh Channi has skipped a summon by the Enforcement Directorate in a Money Laundering Case. Channi's nephew Bhupinder Singh Honey was arrested by the ED in an illegal sand mining case, and approximately Rs.10 crore was seized during the searches conducted by the central agency. Out of this entire amount, around Rs. 7.9 crores were seized from Honey's residence itself which had created a major controversy in the state of Punjab. The skipping of the summon can tighten the grip of the ED on Channi.
