According to sources, on March 29, the school submitted its explanation before the Chief Education Officer in Chennai. The school in its explanation said that they have followed all the due guidelines issued by the Tamil Nadu school education department when it came to maintenance of the bus. It has also stated that whether it was the fitness of the bus or the other guidelines related to the driver, they complied with all the rules.
