2:26Now PlayingA shocking incident has come to light from Umarkhed Tehsil in the Yavatmal district in Maharashtra. A mother & an infant were killed due to an abysmal stretch of road in Maharashtra's Yavatmal district. The incident happened in Bandi village wherein a 30-year-old Natasha Thoke was in labour pains and her family decided to take her to the nearest government Primary Health Centre (PHC). A family called for an autorickshaw to go to the hospital. But due to the poor condition of the road between Bandi to Bitergaon town, Natasha delivered her baby on the way in the autorickshaw itself. But due to the pathetic condition of the roads she and her newborn baby could not tolerate the vibrations and shocks of the road and both died in the autorickshaw when they were just 2 km away from the nearest PHC.
