IMD has predicted a heatwave across the country for the next five days, with temperatures predicted to rise as high as 45 degrees. We are joined by special guests to share their views on this. "The heatwave today is being exacerbated by our own mismanagement on the ground," says Sunita Narain, environmentalist and director. "Globally, we're in a very bad time now," she added. "This sudden increase in temperature is not a joke," says Licypriya Kangujam, a climate activist. As for the central government, "They're doing their best by diverting trains for coal," says Rajiv Agarwal, Secretary General of ICPPA.
