Consumer Affairs ministry held a meeting with cab aggregators today.
Cab aggregators, including Ola and Uber, have been cautioned of severe activity except if they work on their system and review rising consumer complaints, a senior government official said on Tuesday. The public authority held a gathering on Tuesday with the ride-hailing stages in the midst of an ascent in consumer objections of alleged unfair trade practices by them.
"Problems was the online platforms that provided cab services, which had no control in the Indian framework" said Uday Warunjikar, Consumer Rights Lawyer.
Meanwhile,Supreme Court pulled up the Centre as the hearing on contentious Sedition Law resumed, calling it "Kala Kanoon".
