2:49Now PlayingThe central board of direct taxes has come up with a new rule according to the new rule quoting the pan or Adhaar number will now be mandatory for cash deposits and withdrawals in a financial year exceeding 20 lakh rupees and also in the case of opening of current account or cash credit account with a bank. The new rules which have been released by the central board of direct taxes will be effective from the 26th of May 2022. The government has made it mandatory to quote either PAN or Aadhaar for depositing or withdrawing over Rs 20 lakh in a financial year or opening of a current account.
