6:23Now PlayingAccording to the latest Mirror Now reports, the Supreme Court declared that the GST Council's recommendations are not binding on the Union and state governments. The Supreme Court ruled on Thursday that the GST on maritime freight paid in the context of goods importation is unconstitutional. Indian importers who have already paid the tax will be eligible for a refund. Furthermore, due of the Supreme Court order, importers who had not paid the tax on services importation will no longer be compelled to do so. Listen to the Abhishek Rastogi from petitioners side.
