They want to clear their pending allowance of COVID days. Nurses want to revoke the decision of the government to transfer them every 6 years. The protest is symbolic because the Mumbai nurses stopped working for one hour. They will go on an indefinite strike from May 28th if the government won't meet their demands. They will do a state-wide strike. They want to restructure their employment and also want equal pay for government nurses.
