as posted by the channelAs per the latest news coming on Mirror Now, Mumbai cops are looking to block 100 rogue loan apps after a series of complaints about digital lenders blackmailing loan borrowers. Till last week the number of such FIRs was 23, which has gone up to 27 with the filing of four new FIRs. The Reserve Bank of India had last week cancelled the registration licences of 5 Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs). These NBFCs are used to run dozens of apps. CERT-In (Computer Emergency Response Team) wrote to google to block these apps and remove them from the play store.
