The state govt has assured them of action by July 15. Nurses of Maharashtra state-run hospitals were agitating to fulfill their demands and were on indefinite strike since May 28. They were protesting against the government's decision to hire nurses via a private contractor. MSNA, Maharashtra State Nursing Association, had raised the issue that such a move will make nurses vulnerable to exploitation with regard to their working hours and wages. Watch here!
