Filing an affidavit in Supreme Court, it stated that the reasons behind the ban cannot be disclosed citing national security concerns. For the unversed, govt had put a ban on MediaOne TV since January 31 citing “security reasons”. The channel is purportedly supported by the Kerala unit of Jamaat-e-Islami. Jamaat-e-Islami is a socio-religious political organization, which the center had declared “unlawful” for five years in 2019. Watch to know more!
