He noted that work on mending city potholes, which was delayed for 25 days owing to severe rains in May, had finally resumed and will be completed on time. Tushar Girinath, who recently took over as BBMP chief, assured the media that the 5,500 potholes that have yet to be filled would be remedied shortly. "We discovered that the potholes are five square meters in size or larger, contrary to our estimate that they were not larger than one square meter." But even though the deadline is about to end the bbmp has not even started the work on the potholes in Bengaluru and still thousands of potholes are visible on the roads of Bengaluru mirror now does the reality check on the matter.
