3:52Now PlayingAhead of monsoon season, the Mumbai Civic Body has identified over 300 buildings as dilapidated, they have been classified as C1 which means that they are beyond repair and need to be demolished immediately. As a precautionary measure, the civic body has asked residents living in such dangerous and high risk buildings to move to safer places. But where do they go? The residents put forth their complaints, they say, "It's better to die in our house than die on the roads". Unless and until they have an alternative, they refuse to vacate their premises. The eviction notice has already been put up, furthermore electricity and water supply has been removed, still the residents are firm on their demands that until and unless an alternative arrangement is provided to them, they will not move.
