On Wednesday, a video of a child from Delhi went popular on the internet, forcing the Delhi police to search down her family. This turned out to be "punishment" from the mother. Initially, social media accounts stated that the footage was from the Karawal Nagar neighbourhood on June 2. However, no such incidence was discovered by police. It was then discovered that the video was from the Khajuri Khas area. When questioned by police, the mother stated that she had simply chastised her daughter "for 5-7 minutes" for failing to complete her schoolwork.
