The ATF price increase goes into effect today. With the current increase, jet fuel prices have reached an all-time high, implying that a significant increase in airfares is on the way. The increase, which follows a 1.3 percent (Rs 1,563.97 per liter) rate drop earlier this month, pushes jet fuel prices to new highs across the country. Every month on the 1st and 16th, ATF prices are adjusted based on the average benchmark worldwide rates.
