The group's deputy co - ordinator KP Munusamy declared that the gathering would proceed as planned after reviewing the preparations being made for the general council meeting at Vanagaram. Munusamy added that he had not yet received Panneerselvam's letter requesting a temporary suspension of the general council. Additionally, he declared that Panneerselvam, the party's team leader, would participate the general council meeting and that he and others would accept the decisions made by the general council on June 23.
