Earlier, news came that all the MLAs of the Eknath Shinde camp in Guwahati had been given a letter of support. Eknath Shinde also gave the letter of support from the camp to the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, but the signature of the leader, Nitin Deshmukh, was found wrong in it. It is being said that the signature in the letter of support for Nitin Deshmukh is false. As per the signatures recorded for Deshmukh, it did not match with his signature on the letter of support.
