The first hike in ticket prices for air travel was seen in March, followed by another hike in the month of May. Few major tweaks in pricing were always done at prices, a blanket hike has taken place for the third time in 4 months across the 20-major routes in India. The major reason behind the hike is the surge in fuel prices.
