3:31Now Playing4-day-old Shinde-BJP government will face the floor test today during the special 2-day session of the Legislative Assembly. Maharashtra chief Minister Eknath Shinde will face a ground test today, days after ruling with the BJP. Shinde led a successful revolt against his boss and Ex-Chief minister Uddhav Thackeray by taking 39 out of 55 Shiv Sena MPs. With only 16 MPs left, Thackeray had to resign as minister and that led to the collapse of the MVA government which came into effect in 2019. Monday's test is held on the second day of the two-day special session. In the by-elections, Shinde was also backed by the BJP, which has 106 members in the 288-member Parliament.
