2:59Now PlayingA few days ago, the Amravati Police itself said that the victim, Umesh, was killed for supporting Nupur Sharma over Whatsapp. The police have said that this was a blind case and that they don't have any concrete evidence against the mastermind of the killing. However, Independent MLA Ravi Rana came forward on this and he claims that the police were hiding facts related to the case and that the Commissioner had pressurised the family to not disclose more information. Earlier, the BJP had alleged that the Maharashtra government had been trying to suppress the case. Meanwhile, the Amravati Court had asked the local police to hand over all the documents to the National Investigation Agency, which will be probing the matter now.
