Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had won the trust vote with 164 votes.
Although, during the Speaker's election on Sunday, the Opposition got 107 votes, but many MLAs, including senior Congress leaders such as Vijay Wadettiwar and Ashok Chavan, were not present during the trust vote.
