She did not have the best history in the Singapore Open, but this Sunday, Sindhu gave it her all. She took 12 minutes to ease past her Chinese opponent in the first match. In the second match, Wang Zhi Yi came stronger to defeat Sindhu by 11-21. But in the third game, P. V. Sindhu had 5 match points and converted them into winning the third game by 21-15 and sealed the Singapore Open title. It was a tough road to achieve the title for herself.
