Instructions have been issued to each airline to take steps at all levels to enhance the security surveillance. According to sources, Scindia also met the senior officials of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, and the DGCA, in continuation of the ongoing reviews of the flight occupancies.. The meeting lasted for almost 2 hours. Directions were issued regarding tightening and further improving the safety of the passengers. The minister clearly pointed out that the passenger’s safety is paramount and there will be no compromise regarding safety, reliability of the airline operations.
