In Sri Lanka, community kitchens have been established where daily meals are prepared for more than 250–300 individuals. Due to a gas shortage, the locals had to cook on wooden logs. All of the donated food, including breakfast and dinner, is given to the protesters, from bananas to rice. Every day there is a loud protest. The protesters demand the ouster of Ranil Wickremesinghe as President after removing the President from his position.
