According to data presented in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), the number of Indians who surrendered their nationality in 2021 was over 1.6 lakh, the highest number in the previous five years. By renunciation their Indian citizenship, more than 78,000 Indians obtained U.S. citizenship, the largest number of any other nation. And apart from US people also moved to other countries.
