In 2021 only 1.6 lakh Indians left citizenship according to information provided by the Ministry of Home Affairs in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. It is the highest in the last five years. "I think aspirations don't mean Indians are going for employment. Aspirations mean, if parents have only 1 child, they want to send it to the US," says S Rajan. Founder Chairman, IIMD. "The young generation wants to talk about climate change, a pluralistic society, LGBTQ rights & more. Indian politicians just pay lip service to all this," says Sanjay Jha.
