This event occurred after opposition parties organized a demonstration in Parliament on Wednesday against inflation and the increase in the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on some everyday necessities. Opposition leaders from the Congress, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), and the Left yelled shouts against the government, asking that the government reverse the increase in GST rates on items like curd, bread, and paneer.
