He had previously expressed similar sentiments in response to the arrest of Delhi minister Satyendar Jain on charges of money laundering brought by the Enforcement Directorate. Meenakshi Lekhi, a BJP leader and cabinet minister, during a press conference said that "the people of Delhi were duped. Delhi unlawfully implemented the alcohol policy. Kejriwal should provide a reasoned justification to it."
