The court ruled that no one could violate the rights guaranteed by the Constitution because the child of an unmarried mother is a citizen of the nation. The rights to privacy, dignity, and liberty of rape survivors' and unwed mothers' children cannot be violated by authorities. The court noted that people should be aware of the psychological trauma that can result from privacy invasions.
