As per the reports of Mirror Now, The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday carried out search operations at various premises linked to the recruitment scam at the West Bengal School Service Commission (WB-SSC) and West Bengal Primary Education Board. The people who were searched include TMC's Partha Chatterjee, a sitting minister in the Mamata Banerjee government in Bengal. The alleged scam took place when Chatterjee was the education minister.

Now TMC demands a time-bound investigation into this case. They say that the opposition will drag this case forward forever. The BJP is taking advantage of this opportunity to malign the image of the TMC in West Bengal. Arpita Mukherjee and Partha Chatterjee are both with ED now.
