as posted by the channelIn yet another significant raid, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), found a multi-state network of fraudsters and detained four of them for apparently trying to scam citizens of Rs 100 crore with fake promises of Rajya Sabha seats and governorship. During recent raids made by the investigative agency Four members of the gang were reportedly caught in connection with the case. One of the accused fled during the manhunt after assaulting CBI personnel, according to officials. He has been Slammed with a separate FIR at the nearby police station for assaulting agency personnel. In exchange for bribes, the accused allegedly promised to create governorships and chairmanships of numerous government organisations in addition to Rajya Sabha seats.
