Congress leader Jayram Ramesh said that Kharge was made to sit not commiserate with the position he held. He has written a letter to the Rajya Sabha chairman for showing a deliberate disrespect shown towards a very senior leader. Mallikarjun Kharge is an opposition leader in Rajya Sabha. There is a protocol to give them a specific seat as per the protocol. According to Congress now the same protocol was not followed and he was made to sit behind.
