He further said that senior leaders like Margaret Alva should not make such allegations also when she is the candidate for Vice presidential post. Remember, Margaret Alva claimed that after speaking to a BJP friend, she was unable to place or receive calls. Additionally, she received word from MTNL that if she couldn't get through to the operator, her sim would be disabled. She brought up the subject on Twitter and said that MPs frequently change their sim cards and phone numbers because Big Brother is listening to everything the opposition says on the phone. She continued by saying that such fear destroys India's democracy.
