as posted by the channelAs per the latest news on Mirror Now, the first day of the 5G spectrum auction saw a record bid of Rs.1.45 lakh crore which was much higher than the 1.1 lakh crore auction that the government saw back in 2015. Union Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that "they will be able to complete the spectrum allocation by Aug15 and 5G services in the country can be expected by September, October. Today the fifth round of auctions will continue. A total of 72gigahertz of airwaves are up for bidding. 4 telecom company that is Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea and Adani Data Networks are biding in the spectrum.
