The total number of MPs suspended has become 27, which makes it the largest block of suspended MPs in 30 years. The upper house has adopted the motion to suspend the MPs from the Aam Aadmi Party, Sushil Kumar Gupta and Sandeep Kumar Pathak. Apart from them, an independent MP, Ajeet Kumar, has also been suspended for a week for their inappropriate behavior. Meanwhile, the opposition created a ruckus in the parliament today while referring to Smriti Irani, questioning whether the rules are just for the opposition.
